Probing transversity by measuring Λ polarisation in SIDIS

Based on the observation of sizeable target-transverse-spin asymmetries in single-hadron and hadron-pair production Semi-Inclusive measurements Deep Inelastic Scattering (SIDIS), chiral-odd transversity quark distribution functions $h_1^q$ are nowadays well established. Several possible channels to access these were originally proposed. One candidate is measurement polarisation $\Lambda$ hyperons produced SIDIS off transversely polarised nucleons, where transverse struck might be transferred final-state hyperon. In this article, we present COMPASS results transversity-induced $\bar{\Lambda}$ protons. Within experimental uncertainties, no significant deviation from zero was observed. The discussed context different models taking into account previous $h_1^u$ $h_1^d$.
